This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
No previous experience is required, whether you love taking photos or is camera-shy, I’ll provide you with guidance so you feel comfortable to enjoy the experience and have fun!
After you book your session, we will talk about your vision for the photoshoot, the location, share moodboards, etc! On the day, I will provide full guidance and support throughout the shoot to make it a light hearted experience for you that you will treasure!
wHY IS there a booking fee?
There is a lot of planning and prep work that goes into a session, from beginning to end. When you pay your the booking fee and select a date, the photography blocks that time slot off for you, meaning no one else can hire them to work. Rest assured that when you book your photo session, I will arrive for your session early, prepped and ready to go..
Can you recommend any locations?
All locations are proposed and were carefully curated to ensure the best place for different scenarios, no matter the type of session chosen.
What should i WEAR? DO YOU OFFER A CLIENT CLOSET?
While I do not yet offer a full client closet, I do offer one overlay garment from the Poetria wardrobe - which includes corsets, vests, or aprons available in sizes XS, S, M, L.
Overall, you just need an outfit that coordinates well together, is comfortable and gives a timeless feel. When you book your session with me, we will discuss about your wishes or vision for the photoshoot and I will send you a session guide and moodboard. It will provide you with the necessary informations and help you plan your outfits. You can send me pictures of outfit options and I will help you choose.
I will work with you to ensure your outfit work perfectly with the style of the photo shooting. Layers are always a great option as they can be adjusted to suit the setting and the weather of the day of the photoshoot.
Do you offer Destination Sessions OUTSIDE OF PARIS?
Yes, While the majority of my sessions are shot in or around Paris, I love a good adventure. If you have an idea, reach out and let’s talk about it, I am available to travel around France and Europe for a photoshoot. Destination Sessions involve me traveling to a certain location that is meaningful to you to photograph your session. So if you are considering one of these, let’s chat!
What if it rains?
When it comes to the possibility of rain, my policy is that if there is a 50% chance or rain or higher during the hours we will be shooting, I will reach out to you to see if you’d like to proceed as scheduled or move to a different location indoors.
Rain can also be charming and romantic, so we can embrace it and adapt to have it used in our favour during the photo session, in this case, I offer a transparent umbrella that can be used during the photoshoot.
